Remote Control Cattle 3/4 Cattle Gate 

Truck Art Smash Repairs and Truck Art Livestock Trailers are well aware of the need to manage fatigue and where possible, minimise the potential for injury to owners/owner operators during stock management processes.

Recently, there has been a number of very serious accidents causing significant injury to operators as they move stock in and around livestock trailers and crates etc. In addition, the financial and personal cost is enormous often leaving the owner driver and their family in serious personal and financial difficulty.

Truck Art has reacted to the needs of the industry and following extensive research and development, Truck Art has developed an automated and remote controlled ¾ cattle gate.

This gate can be operated from outside the trailer and potentially from inside or around the cattle yard as cattle are loaded onto the trailer. There is no need to be in the trailer or close to stock as the trailer is loaded or unloaded.

The gate is currently situated at frame 3 on the bottom deck of the rear trailer. With an ability to lock, unlock and open and close remotely as well as prod cattle to move forward during loading, the gate essentially removes all danger to the operator.

As a fail-safe, the gate can also be operated manually as per current standard practice and offers a safe zone for the operator when folded completely back to the trailer side.
